Write data in Excel to multiple cells simultaneously
If
you want to write the same content or formulas into multiple cells at once, through a simple command to fill all the selected cells. The cells need not be contiguous (ie beside each other).
Follow these steps:
- Highlight the cells you want to enter data in
- Enter the desired content to the active cell
- Confirm/make the multiple changes with Ctrl + Enter
All cells that were selected are now filled with the content that you entered to the active cell.
